Wyoming data center projects in government records, 2026
4 data center projects found in City of Cheyenne records: three data center site plans under staff review and one annexation and zone change case, dated April 26 to October 26, 2026. None of them has an equipment count in the records we opened. Every project links to its government record.
We kept only projects whose own government record names a data center, so large projects that news ties to records without that wording (such as the Highlands annexation, Project Tembo, the Cheyenne Prairie Generating Station expansion and Prometheus Hyperscale in Natrona County) are not listed; the DEQ air permit database could not be read, Cheyenne site plan files and council minutes were blocked to automated reading, and most counties outside Laramie and Natrona were not checked. This is a sample, not a complete list.
